The 5 golden rules
Do these with any fresh flowers and they'll thank you for it.
Cut 2–3 cm off at a 45° angle with clean, sharp scissors.
Fill two-thirds with fresh, lukewarm water.
Mix in the sachet that came with your Zuvees order.

Beat the heat
Heat and dry air are what wilt flowers fastest here. A few small habits make a big difference.
A cool room at 18–22°C is ideal.
Direct sun through glass cooks petals.
Cold, dry AC air dries petal edges.
Even 10 minutes can wilt a bouquet.

Flower care FAQs
How long will my flowers last?
Most Zuvees bouquets last 5–7 days with the care on this page. Carnations, chrysanthemums and orchids can last two weeks or more.
Can I use tap water?
Yes. Lukewarm tap water is fine for most flowers. What matters most is changing it often: daily in summer, every 2 days in cooler months.
Is the flower food really necessary?
It helps a lot. Flower food feeds the blooms and slows the bacteria that cloud water and block stems. If you run out, simply change the water more often.
Why are some of my flowers still closed?
Many flowers are sent in bud so you get to enjoy them for longer. In a cool room with fresh water, they usually open within 1–3 days.
Can I put my flowers in the fridge overnight?
Only if there's no fruit or vegetables inside, as they release a gas that ages flowers faster. For most homes, the coolest air-conditioned room overnight works just as well.
